Amarone

Amarone della Valpolicella is a prestigious dry red wine produced in the Valpolicella region of Veneto. It is mainly made from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, which are dried for several months to concentrate sugars and aromas. This drying process gives the wine a unique complexity and richness.

Amarone della Valpolicella has an intense garnet red color and offers a complex aromatic bouquet with notes of dried fruit, plums, cherries, spices, chocolate and tobacco. On the palate it is robust, velvety and well-structured, with soft tannins and a long persistence. It is an ideal wine to accompany robust dishes such as braised meats, game, red meats and aged cheeses.

 

Lugana

Lugana wine is an Italian white wine produced in the Lake Garda region, between Lombardy and Veneto. It is mainly made from Trebbiano di Lugana grapes, also known as Turbiana. The main characteristics of Lugana include a straw yellow color, a delicate aroma with notes of white flowers, citrus and white-fleshed fruits, and a fresh, mineral and well-balanced flavor. There are different types of Lugana, including Lugana Superiore, Lugana Riserva, Lugana Vendemmia Tardiva and Lugana Spumante, each with specific characteristics in terms of aging and production method.

Ripasso

Ripasso della Valpolicella is a red wine produced in the Valpolicella region of Veneto. It is obtained through a technique called “ripasso”, which consists of fermenting the base Valpolicella wine in contact with the residual pomace of Amarone or Recioto. This process enriches the wine with structure, complexity and depth.

Ripasso della Valpolicella has an intense ruby red color and has aromas of ripe red fruit, cherries, plums, spices and sometimes hints of chocolate and tobacco. Full-bodied, velvety and well-balanced on the palate, with soft tannins and good persistence. It is a versatile wine that goes well with red meats, roasts, game and aged cheeses.

Recioto

Recioto della Valpolicella is a sweet red wine produced in the Valpolicella region, located in Veneto. It is mainly made from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, which are dried on racks to concentrate sugars and aromas. Recioto della Valpolicella has an intense and deep red color, with rich aromas of ripe red fruit, cherries, plums, and spicy notes of cocoa and vanilla. Soft, velvety and sweet on the palate, with a balanced acidity that balances out the natural sweetness of the wine. It is often paired with chocolate-based desserts or aged cheeses.
